Kristen Anne Bell was born in America. She is both an actor as well as a performer. When she was young, Kristen Bell appeared in numerous television commercials. Dorothy Gale was her role in "The Wizard of Oz,' a production of the school's 'Shrine' Catholic High School. She was a student at the 'Tisch School for the Arts' to graduate from Musical Theater, but left prior to graduation for a part in the musical adaptation of 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer'. In the film 'Pootie Tang', she was the first actress to be credited with a performance. Similar to many other emerging stars, she relocated into Los Angeles and was successful with numerous television show appearances. The first movie she appeared in was 'Spartan In which she starred alongside Val Kilmer. She won many awards for her performance as Veronica Mars, which she played in the HBO series "Deadwood.'
