Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and teacher of St. Thomas University). Anna was born in Fredericton and is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her plays as a child and watching her mom doing her job. Anna appeared in several advertisements as a kid. Then, in November 1999 Anna made the move to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career. She eventually moving in Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Anna was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's workshop in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism at the time and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. The couple got married in April 2011 the couple renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured in CNN's top television couples list.
