Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson was an American actor. Elson started her career in TV as a child model as well as actress. Her best-known role is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson on CBS' science fiction series. Andrea auditioned and won the role as Lynn Tanner on the hit series ALF (1986). The actress was on numerous popular TV shows and also Movies of the Weekly for many more years before she left the industry to focus on her family. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF as the teen daughter to Kate and Willie. People reported in 2000 Elson's struggles to develop as a woman before the audience of sitcoms. Andrea was able to get her agent living in San Diego, where she won the very first part for which she attempted to audition for. Fusco justified the claim by saying "ALF has a lifespan of 285 years which means he's an adult who is able to drink alcohol." Since ALF's popularity increased with youngsters, NBC informed Fusco that the actor could not consume alcohol since the kids were watching. The show was a poor example. Fusco maintained that he believed ALF to be an adult, and could manage the alcohol. In 1995, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. He was treated successfully and remained in remission until 2019. The cancer ended his life on the 26th of June 2019, when he had been 75. His funeral was held at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
