Annie Ilonzeh

Annette Ngozi Ilonzeh was born in Nigeria and is now an American actor. She was first seen on television in the role of Maya Ward (ABC's General Hospital) from 2010 until 2011. Then she was cast as Kate Prince, in the ABC's Charlie's Angels reboot. Later, she had recurring parts in the show Arrow Drop Dead Diva Empire. Ilonzeh is a Grapevine native of Texas who attended Colleyville Heritage High School. Her father was a Nigerian Igbo and her mother was was white. Her first TV appearance was in the CBS show How I Met Your Mother. The show featured her in small parts The He's not That Into You Miss March, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: the Lightning Thief and He's Just Not That Into You Miss March. Ilonzeh was a frequent character in the CW prime-time soap drama Melrose Place from 2009 to 2010 and in 2010 appeared in three episodes of Entourage. Between 2010 and 2011, she portrayed the character Maya Ward on the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital. In 2017, Ilonzeh portrayed Kidada Jones in the biographical The All Eyez on Me and also appeared in the thriller Death Do Us Part. In the year 2018, Ilonzeh started playing Emily Foster as part of the NBC Drama Chicago Fire.
