Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan has been an Australian model, actress, and television personality since 10th May 1981. She gained fame in Australia due to her portrayal of Pepper Steiger, which she played over a 100 episodes in the soap opera from Australia Neighbors between 2006 and 2007. The first show she appeared that she worked on in Hollywood was the choral-comedy Hollywood & Wine that she appeared in, where she played an actress that is newly arrived in Hollywood. After that, she was offered a regular role in the ninth season of Scrubs which portrayed Maya an extremely sexy medical student. As a result, the whole series abruptly ended. The next couple of years, the actress is expected to remain involved in the Farrelly brothers' show Good to film, which will feature Jason Sudeiki's Owen Wilson. The year 2013 allowed her to be more visible in projects. She appeared on six of episodes in the series detective Franklin and Bash then landed her first part in the web-series Chosen played by Milo Ventimiglia. She is in the initial two seasons of the show as well as giving a response to Chad Michael Murray. Following that she appeared in the supporting parts for two films featuring aircraft scenes. One was The Flight 7500: One Way Back on the SyFy Channel with a group of TV actors, as well as Le Chaos (an action film starring Nicolas Cage). The role she plays is pilot. She along with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador a brand new television show. The current season of the drama, where the actors are CIA agents under Robert Rodriguez's direction, has only 13 episodes. Her pilot for a new series, however, does not work out. The poster was shared by her for the romance B-Series Borrowed Moments in 2015 with Brian Krause, then appeared in the role of Kad Cuoco and Kevin Hart's co-stars in the comedy Witness for Rent. Also, she is an integral part of the massive distribution of Terrence Malick's experimental Knight of Cups. She appears in 5 scenes of Satisfaction.
